교환학생이란걸 한 번 신청해보려고 우여곡절끝에 토플시험을 쳤는데, 리포팅이 너무 늦어져서 알아봤더니 땡스기빙때문에 점수 발표가 늦어진단다. 오, 주여. 마감일이 코 앞에 닥쳤나이다. 굽어 살피소서. 그러고보면 가방이 무거워 우산을 빼놓고 온 날 비가 온다거나, 셔틀버스를 기다리는 사람들의 행렬이 내 앞에서 딱 끊긴다거나 하는 일은 늘상 있었잖아. 그래도 한 가지 마음에 드는건, 결국엔 모든게 다 잘 될거라는 대책없는 믿음 같은 소소한 것들이다. 물론, 어떤 사람들은 이 늘어난 고무줄 같은 성격을 늘 마음에 안 들어했지만.
